Career and Professional Development Center Internships

The Career and Professional Development Center (CPDC) is currently hiring PAID Career Development Interns who will work with their office during the 2021-2022 academic year.

As an intern, you will learn how to provide excellent peer-to-peer career education to fellow U of U students on a variety of career development topics, and also have the opportunity to work closely with a CPDC staff member who will mentor and supervise you on completing a specialized semester-length project that aligns with your major(s), skills, interests, and career goals and supports the CPDC mission. You will learn valuable skills and knowledge related to all aspects of the career development process, including how to find a job/internship, write an excellent resume and cover letter, prepare for an interview, explore careers, develop an online presence, and more!

You can learn more about the internship and apply on the UofU’s HR website or through Handshake.

The internship will be open until filled, and they will start reviewing applications on a rolling basis beginning in July.

If you are interested in applying, consider using the Virtual Career Studio (live chat) on the CPDC website or the resumereviews@careers.utah.edu email to get feedback and guidance on your resume and cover letter before applying. The live chat is available Monday-Friday from 10am-3pm at https://careers.utah.edu/ and you can email the resume reviews email anytime and they will get back to you in 1-3 business days.
